I always liked Colin Powell. I had hoped that he would have been the voice of reason within a Bush government gone awry. However, he wilt4d under the pressure from Rumsfled and Cheney and in the long run took a tremendous hit on any political aspirations that he may have had.

Hopefully, his endorsement will serve to spur Independents and forward thinking Republicans to jump on board.

You gotta respect Colin Powell. He has good sense. He recognizes where his own party goes wrong and is not afraid to say so. I don't understand all those parrot Republicans who repeat and support any and everything their party members throw out.
