Look, Lupe will always be known for his outlandish statements, even more so for his music.  So, before I make a judgment call I want y’all to chime in on these statements and tell me if they hold any validity.

  • Why are people so on the attack because Lupe expressed his opinion??? If you listened to the whole interview, although he wasn't all to moved by the speech, what moved him was Jesse Jackson crying!! He felt that was more powerful, because Jesse was one of the few who actually knew Malcolm X and Martin Luther King personally, so to see Jesse cry, it was saying a lot more than he felt the speech did!! To be honest, his acceptance speech wasn't all that compared to the other speeches he gave. Wow, it's refreshing and scary to know how serious people are about our new president!!
    • There was so many things Obama should've said but didn't because he had to play it safe and not piss off Republicans and racist white people even more!! Which is why he made no reference to King's dreams and ideas finally coming true!! Which is why he made no reference to this being a victory for the African American community, because then that would be considered racist!! Bottom line his speech was real safe, because we all know what should have been said once he won!!
  • Lupe's name says it all...Fiasco! He's a joke and make stupid statements all the time. I love people like him because he says Obama's speech didn't move him, yet Lupe's music has changed the world! Shut up
  • LUPE THE DUMB ASS
  • Lupe has a right to his opinion you know, I was very moved by Prez. Obama's speech, im still moved by his victory for us ( Black, white, latinos, asians, native americans, etc.), thats life everybody has an opinion so dont be mad if u dont like it, be happy for America, we have spoken loud!
  • Lupe is Lupe. I do agree that it is time for African Americans to add a bit of eliquence to their life. To stand up and become what they so aspired, there are no more excuses. I disagree about the speech, it moved me to tears. I agree that it was all races that voted Obama in, it took all races coming together and voting this man as our new President. Lupe has an opinion and is entitled to it.
  • How effin ignorant was that to say...
  • Who cares what Lupe says?
  • Lupe is wack anyway, he always has some off base opinion or reason. Isn't he the one who couldn't remember the words to "check the rhyme" at the hip-honors.and he excuse was he was too young. Again, Wack!
  • If it wasn't for opinions Obama would not have Won So Lupe is intitled to his Opinion.
  • Lupe is already a funny dude, tell him to just keep his balance on stage and don't fall off again. But I must say he is entitled to his personal opinion. Me personally I felt the speech, his voice and his presence when he stood at the podium. It was a great experience to witness and be apart of in my lifetime. I am Barack Obama..
