The parents of John Walker Lindh, the 21-year-old Californian who fought with the Taliban in Afghanistan, are asking President Bush to grant a pardon for their son's release. Lindh pleaded guilty on July 16, 2002, to two felony charges in a surprise deal with prosecutors and agreed to serve 20 years in prison. Good luck with that!
