A new book by a former MTV executive is a "tell-some" memoir about his years of struggling with his sexuality...and all the secrets he found out working in the music industry.

  • there probably are some.....after a while they probably get bored and want to try something new.....
  • To be honest...I could care less if they homosexual or not. I'm not into putting that much thought into people that don't even know who the heck I am. And even if they are homosexual, what makes they so much more interesting from the homosexual people we walk by everyday? We put the wrong celebs on a pedistol.
  • This story to me is just to start controversy in the industry as with the chick in the Diary of a Video Vixen, at least she was bold enough to give names, maybe this cat, is scared he gone get his azzizzle whoop by the people that he is leading fans to speculate who he is talking about, I feel if a person is bad enough to open a can of worms, then be man about it and tell all. All this, is going to lead to is rumors and more rumors that will lead to controversy, if the books are about these people, then I think it will be a great idea for the men to come out the closet like Duane Martin, he is still a Great Actor and I will never stop thinking that he is sexy azzizzle heck, but I just think he is nasty. As mentioned above, there are a lot of artists that we can speculate about, but it all will remain a mystery unless it is admitted by them personally
  • just another attempt to make money off of those that are making money... not feeling the book, especially since there's no names mentioned! Why bother? We can all speculate on who's homosexual & who's not! We should all write a book on who we THINK is homosexual! Nope... I won't be comin out the pocket for that...
  • I think Money Up Front meant that hip-hop music is so homophobic that it is sheer hypocrisy to rap against it, when you are involved in it yourself. It's like the family values campaigns that politicians run on.
  • @Money Up Front, why not? I can't see any good reason why anyone would ever hide that aspect of their personality. There is nothing wrong with it and no reason for anyone to be ashamed of it.

BTW it sounds like the author is asking some very poignant questions on the topic. Looks like it could be a pretty interesting book.
  • LOL at kiki2007, I'm with you! I want NAMES! I have a co-worker who is convinced that everyone in the industry is homosexual, so it'd be nice to compare names.
  • bound to be mad gossip in this industry
  • okay, but how about if you gonna acknowledge it, then at least name the names.
  • It's not like we don't know its their but we'd rather not acknowledge it.
