50% chance North Pole will be Ice-free This Year

dsc.discovery.com - This year the North Pole has a 50-50 chance of experiencing the first ice-free summer in recorded history, say scientists. He's a senior researcher at the National Snow and Ice Data Center and the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo.
