Barack The Comedian? It Really Ain't Funny

ravingblacklunatic.blogspot.com - A blogger takes issue with several MSM comments that Barack needs to "lighten up." The man's trying to run for President in some not too funny times. So why does he have to be a comedian?

    Who says Obama doesn't have a sense of humor? I have found Barack to have a delightful sense of humor throughout the campaign - when a joke is told. I'd like to hear a few good jokes from the Late Night shows. Unfortunately, there is no Johnny Carson or ever Arsenio Hall to tell them, never mind write them. Apparently, the current writers for Late Night TV only have crude Frat boy jokes as a reference point for jokes involving Obama. Knowing those would be publicly frowned upon, they just don't tell ANY Obama jokes.

    As I understand it, President Bush is a funny guy, a regular class clown and a walking gag reel. Sh*t, he'd probably be great guy to play Spades with, smoking a fatty and killing a magnum of Henny. However, I'd draw the line if he started telling N-jokes at the table.

    Even though it may disturb the tender sensibilities of those that would tell that type of joke, Black folks are not obliged to laugh or smile at N-jokes, "XXXX is My Slave" T-shirts, lawn jockeys as Presidential Nominees, etc., AND I am deeply annoyed by folks who insist that I must find any humor in them, too.
