  Nas has always been a talented and more down to earth hip hop artist. If only all of Hip Hop followed his foot steps. If all this is to sell albums, good for him. At least we can say he is doing something positive but he will never be able to please all you fence riders and haters, so ya know what ya can do. Nas keep doing what you do brother, hopefully it will rub off on others. Lead by example... peace

  Wow, Nas nice publicity stunt with bringing the petitions. The problem with Nas' argument is that rapping about guns etc, glorifies it.

  Yes. But appearing on the The Colbert Report justifies his intentions of selling his album instead of being genuine. Not saying there's anything wrong with that. But let's just recognize. I don't see Nas supporting the Black news organizations or defending hip-hop when it gets attacked.
