The battle rap statement was only somewhat accurate, because it had the battle rap format of dissing. But it's not any different from what guests on political talk shows would say; it's just in hip-hop lingo. And it's not like the song was called "Obama '08" as an official slogan for the dude. It was just called "Politics As Usual" - and it talked about politics.

Still, he did set himself up to be a tool for the right-wing talk show circuit, and that's too bad. But they're going to use whatever we do anyway, so why hold back our true expression?

The Ludacris song was done for a DJ Drama mixtape. So I guess it was done for the streets. The same thing we complain that rappers never do. Now we all mad because he did it. Hahahah!
