I used to like Oprah & all but enough is enough. By saying what she said about Rihanna she's just making her embarrassed rather than helping her. She's essentially saying that Rihanna isn't smart enough to realize there's other men out there.Everyone has put Oprah up on this pedestal & view her as a god when she's not. Her ego has gotten too big & its showing now more than ever. Instead of bashing Chris Brown why didn't she get him some help?
It seems to me like Oprah only wants a. the most shocking news, b. a big time celebrity, or c. the victim of a horrible crime. And with Rihanna she gets all 3 in 1 convenient package.
People need to stop referring to Chris Brown as a man, yes he is of legal age to be called a man, but that doesn't mean he's all grown up.
I'm not saying that what he did to Rihanna is right, but I'm saying cut him some slack, he's still a person. He's doing his time & learning from it.

I know there are people who are going to read this & say how dare I side with Chris Brown, but the truth is I've been abused to the degree that Rihanna was. The guy is truly sorry & he's now in counseling for it

A man is still capable of learning restraint even if a woman he has abused returns. Men are still human beings.

A man should be capable of intimacy without being a physical menace. We're talking about a sentient human being here, not a dog with an ear infection.

A lot of women, such as Oprah and Judge Judy think this is like watching a horror movie in slow motion. They think they know the outcome, that Brown will not open his eyes and be truly penitent, that Rihanna will not open her eyes and really survey her options.

So long as everyone keeps talking about these two in the same breath, Rihanna and Brown will take their subconscious cues from society that they belong together, and that they're destined to fail together.

That is because their egos are being reinforced as a pair and associated with the expectation of failure. Nobody actually knows, they're just estimating probability.

Henceforth, I'm only going to pay attention to Rihanna and only within the context of my own entertainment. I have no time or ego to waste on a relationship which is not mine. If they perform together, I will not watch. I will only watch Rihanna perform solo.

Oprah needs to mind her business. I am not saying what Chris did was right. However, he is still a kid and everyone is referring to his as a man. He is not a man, he has a lot of growing to do. he can certainly emerge from this a better person as long as he is willing to get help. If you or I made a mistake or did some thing wrong, I am quite sure you would want to be forgiven and get help to deal with your issues and emerge a better person. I believe this is a valuable lesson for him and he will learn to deal with his anger and other issues in a better way without using violence.

Chris keep your head up. I pray for you every night and I hope you will get the help you need to deal with your aggressions.
