So, Lex Luthor is too good for us lowly PWBites now is he? He’s too busy with his “real life” to cater for the online marks? He doesn’t want to be bothered with the millions of PWBites that put this site on the map? huh? Got yourself an internship with Meltzer have you Luthor? Well f**k you then Lex… yeah you heard… f**k you!!

No, ofcorse I’m only kidding Lex. But if the truth was told then this site needs updating. PWB started up as one mans way to express his opinions on wrestling. PWB is now a multi-user, multi-interest, multimedia news and opinion portal… but it just isn’t designed for that.

Finally after much geeking around with wordpress and making  my eyes bleed with php code, thenewpwb.com has a new home.

There are a few things that I think PWB needed.

The first problem with version 4.0 was the way that content got moved down the page (and eventually pretty much knocked off the site) as soon as other posts were posted over that. I never liked that. On version 5.0, the best posts will always be prominent on the home page. The users and readers will decide what goes on the front page by the amount of comments and hits a particular post gets.

Another change to the site is that it will now cater for all types of discussion related to wrestling & MMA. The screen on the home page can handle a lot of posts at once, so when you hit the homepage, all the news, articles, podcasts, opinions, results etc will be right in front of you so you can pick and choose what you want to read and comment on.

One last thing is that the site will look nicer and a lot more fan-friendly. Posting will be slighly different than version 4.0, but I will run through the small differences and problems as and when we get there.

I need something from you guys though. I need you to continue the top quality posts that you suppply to PWB. I really can’t do it without you. Infact, register with your usual PWB name and get posting straight away. It will need content from you ASAP.

As the domain transfers to the new site you won’t have to do anything. You will suddenly hit refresh or go to PWB and the new site will be here. There might be some down time for 2 seconds, 2 hours, or 2 days. I really don’t know. But we will be there.

So here it comes. The PWBites are knocking on the door of version 5.0.
