Open Letter To My Babies' Mama

To all the fathers out there, it's almost Mother's Day, so you better start thinking about doing the right thing...Flowers, dinner, breakfast in bed, tuition, something special...

Everyone knows Kimora Lee Simmons as a fashion model, author, the genius behind Baby Phat, President and creative director for Phat Fashions, philanthropist, reality television star, talk show host, top model judge…the list goes on and on. To me, she has been my partner, best friend, consultant, confidant and basically the greatest mother I could ever hope for, for my daughters. I feel so blessed to continue to have such a great personal and professional relationship with her. Every time I spend time with our girls, I credit her for giving them their manners, thoughtfulness, intelligence, beauty and kindness.

A lot of you fathers, if you look deeply inside of yourself, you will find the support system in your baby’s mama, that allows you the freedom to sleep at night. Even though you are partly disconnected from the daily process of raising your children, you can trust that she’s getting the job done. So celebrate your baby’s mama, as I do! I know damn well, I’m grateful for my babies’ mama.

Happy Mother's Day Kimora! You are loved, appreciated and celebrated!

That was a nice letter and sometimes women need to see that there are men out there who understands what we are going throught and how sometimes even if they don't show us that they love us for what we do a letter like that makes all the differents we as women really want to thank you for being the man you are and even when we don't show you the respect you desever we will all ways go back to that letter.

Well that was just a very manly thing to do. That Right! give her the love and respect just as a person and your babies mama. That's cool. I wish more men were like that. Black families wouldnt be so disconnected if we were all to act like grown up's instead of toddler's. So what the boy got caught with it. you guys just didnt!! lol at least he is not falling out drunk embarrassing his family or having a drug overdose on pills and cocaine!! wateva God can change anything through prayer. - They do not have to cover Jojo's arrest he made a mistake and everyone makes mistakes WHO R U 2 judge Rev Run Russ r Jojo noone's prefect YES God does not like ugly but u need 2 look in the mirror!Rev Run addressed his son mistake and so did Russ if u KNEW ANYTHING about the bible U would know thats how the devil work he attack the things that r close 2 us the things that we love the most n that would b our kids!!! - Shut up. People should fine something else to worry about other than marijuana. Of the substances out there, it the mildest, least, addictive, and least harmful. It actually DOES have some health benefits and analgesic properties. Get your panties out of a bunch and open your mind while youre at it.

What a wonderful breath of open clarity? It is such a graceful way to have other men look at how they view their kids mother. I must say that was admirable and classy, with a clean and easy message. I appreciated reading that... Although, I have not been wished a Happy Mother's Day, given a thank you, or just something to say that I am appreciated in six years (from my daughter's father) and she is seven. However, my reward does not come from man, it comes from God. The mere face alone that my daughter and I are able to share a loving bond, daily is thanks enough.

P.S.-

For all those fathers/baby daddies that are throwing salt in the game by doing nothing... trust me if you have a real woman as your baby's mama you are doing something. Although, she may struggle and may fall... the one thing that you are doing is making her stronger! And, when it all comes down to it... you will be fooled in the end. All those times you could have done for your child and your child's mother and you choose not to... Don't be mad, when you child grows to be a wonderful child and your baby's mama is ballin'.

I want to say I feel you Mr. Simmons but there are people out there who are married w/children but not bilogoical. I'm a livin example of that and sometimes you don't have to be a baby mama to handle business. all the parents in this relationship are positive people of 5 kids. So I totally know what you mean when it comes to that. keep up the good work and stay positive! god Bless!!!!!!! FattyGirl

That is wonderful that you know KIMORA is a great Mom to your children and how well you two can get along afterward.
Mother's are need to be celebrated..it's not an easy job raising children as a Single parent,and No support..believed me I know!
