Sure, we can assume that MJ probably would have found a way to win, but he also may have just been remembered as a flashy high scorer who came short (just like when he scored 63 against the Celtics). That’s why it’s fitting that Nike has brought back the Nike Air Pippen 1 to pay homage to the Bulls’ #2 man, for the first time, no less. Scottie may have always lived in Michael Jordan’s shadow, but he was just as valuable as Worthy to Magic, McHale to Bird, if not more so.
