I love to twitter. If you follow me you know this already. I love my fans who keep up with my frequent tweets and we all have a lot of laughs over at that site. I don't use it for promoting my beliefs or getting all serious about issues ..that's what I'm gonna use Global Grind for.

Here I can be a bit more serious and say that there are many causes that are close to my heart. It may seem shocking (it certainly shocks the hell out of me) but I have offered myself as a spokesperson for a few causes that I care about and actually have been turned away! As if the fact that I'm a sex symbol in some way makes my involvement less vital than another celebrity.

However, the narrow-mindedness of a few charities will never stop me from being a crusader. As you know I'm super excited to be at Pride because you know how I feel about Prop 8. You also know how much I love my dog..and all animals. The thought of anyone hurting a defenseless animal makes me want to cry.

That's why I've come to Global Grind today to show you the video below and beg you to make conscious, compassionate choices when you are out shopping. If you love the look of fur just fake it..its less expensive and you can wear your new outfit without guilt. I had no idea of the way animals are raised or killed for their skin until I saw videos like this one.

I don't know who those people are that have it in their hearts to skin an animal while it is still alive but I hope that by promoting fur alternatives I'm doing my part to stop that needless suffering. You will never see me wearing a fur and if you do, rest assured its FAKE. If you love animals you cannot justify wearing them. Its that simple. Remember, hot girls fake it...for the animals. I should know, cause I'm hot. Lol.

okay well,

i totally agree with all you just said. it is twisted and cruel to skin animals just for our selfish need. we can wear other clothing. we dont NEEED animals furr. and furr is ugly on people anyway. all i see is a selfish little bitchh that wants to look hot and your right when you say hot girls fakeee itt :)))

I can't believe how heartless these men must be, to be laughing while they smash a little animal against the ground. When they showed the raccoon on the ground, dazed, with it's nose bleeding I almost cried.

Im still holding the tears in.

I love animals, and my class kind of knows me as the grade's treehugger. I yell at them when they kill a caterpillar, so imagine how this would bother me.

I think Im gonna barf.

im so happy that you understand how animal cruelty its bad and you wouldn't wear any fur. I would never wear fur, cause its just plain wrong and its like wearing your own pet, and i love animals as much as you do that i been vegetarian for a year now . And for those people who do wear fur, you should be ashame of yourselves, and what you stand for . Honestly, if you say your an animal lover, and you wear fur, you are such hypocrits and thats very low for anyones standards. But i made a promise, for as long as i live, I WILL NEVER HARM OR WEAR AN ANIMAL BECAUSE OF A TREND.

Anyways, i love you tila .

wow.. i coudlnt watch any of it.. its soo sad =/.. the way wen they look at u.. dam wtf is up wit ppl do they not have any heart?.. n btw how u kno thats china.. thers other places that does it ALL OVER THE WORLD.. u see ppl on youtube abusing them lyke wtf.. they need 2 ban this sh*t i swear.. no ones even doin anything out there. n if they are they're not tryin hard enuf..

it's just insane i mean fake-fur is the exactly the same thing but the animals can live i hope that karma can hit those people who is harming the animals so badly!

This is sooo wrong...It made me cry just watching it. I hope eventually this will be illegal!!! It should have been already. Whoever does this to animals should be locked up or something!!! How would they like to be skinned? They wouldn't so they need to stop it!!!

OMG Telia, I Am Seriously Shocked and Upset About That Video. I Cannot Believe That Someone Could Do That To Something So Harmless. Ive Always Felt That Wearing Fur Is Wrong, And I Always Suggested To Friends To Never Wear It. I Have Always Cringe At The Sight Of Real Fur. But After Seeing That I Cant Just Cringe at The Look Of Fur, I Feel I Have To Stand Up For Them. Im No Peta Person, But My Voice Could Help The Cause. I Have Been a BIG Part In The NO ON PROP 8 Fight Down In San Diego. I Got Half My School and Peers To Vote No, Im Straight, But Its A Cause I Felt I Needed To Fight For. I Now Feel I Need To Fight For This Cause. And I Thank You For Bringing This To My Attention. I Will Now Do Anything I Can To Stop. Im a Writer And Aspiring Journalist, I Know My Way Into Small Press, So Hopefully My Word Will Get Around. That Video Is Utterly Disturbing Anf No Animal Should EVER be Treated Like That.
