I love to twitter. If you follow me you know this already. I love my fans who keep up with my frequent tweets and we all have a lot of laughs over at that site. I don't use it for promoting my beliefs or getting all serious about issues ..that's what I'm gonna use Global Grind for.

Here I can be a bit more serious and say that there are many causes that are close to my heart. It may seem shocking (it certainly shocks the hell out of me) but I have offered myself as a spokesperson for a few causes that I care about and actually have been turned away! As if the fact that I'm a sex symbol in some way makes my involvement less vital than another celebrity.

However, the narrow-mindedness of a few charities will never stop me from being a crusader. As you know I'm super excited to be at Pride because you know how I feel about Prop 8. You also know how much I love my dog..and all animals. The thought of anyone hurting a defenseless animal makes me want to cry.

That's why I've come to Global Grind today to show you the video below and beg you to make conscious, compassionate choices when you are out shopping. If you love the look of fur just fake it..its less expensive and you can wear your new outfit without guilt. I had no idea of the way animals are raised or killed for their skin until I saw videos like this one.

I don't know who those people are that have it in their hearts to skin an animal while it is still alive but I hope that by promoting fur alternatives I'm doing my part to stop that needless suffering. You will never see me wearing a fur and if you do, rest assured its FAKE. If you love animals you cannot justify wearing them. Its that simple. Remember, hot girls fake it...for the animals. I should know, cause I'm hot. Lol.

- The excuse that people have been abuseing animals for centries has absolutely no relavence. We are suppose to evolve and learn from our mistakes, and seeing this should teach people that what they are doing to these animals is deplorable. Dont get me wrong I have skinned animals befor, but at least it was dead and it didn't have to go throught the pain of haveing it's skin ripped off.
  
  And you might think Tila is a celf centered bisexual slut, but that does not make her opinion any less valid. Everybody has the right to voice their own opinions includeing ignorant pieces of sh*t like you. And I think you should be supporting the fact that she is trying to get the word out that this is happening and not knocking on her just because she is doing it in a way that you don't quite fancy. Omg. That was so horrible. I had to close my eyes for some parts. I cried for like 10 mins after watching it.I cant believe people who actually do that to poor animals that are helpless. That is so wrong in so many ways. The poor things being skinned for fur and just left there to slowly die. Tila, I'm really glad that your taking a stand :)

Tila, I am proud of you for taking a stand on an issue like this. It is a devastating tragedy that unfortunately no one will be ever to stop anytime soon. The video was hard to watch and I had to try hard not to cry or even vomit. It is horrible. Thank you for showing your love and passion.
Just a little advice, I personally believe that you being a sex symbol is not the only reason charities are turning you down. People will start looking at you seriously when you start acting that way. With everything you do, you relate it back to sex or make it perverted or joke about it. Start being serious and acting a little more adult and people will start listening to you. There are other sex symbols in the world besides you and more popular and known than you that people respect. I love you, but start respecting yourself and others will respect you also.

Tila, you're a superstar to the animals! They need more voices like yours out there to fight for them. I just hope that people are able to see that animals like raccoons are not the only ones to suffer for the fashion industry, though, because there is just as much cruelty involved in industries such as leather and wool production, where animals are abused in much the same way and their suffering goes unheard as careless consumers continue to purchase these items without a second thought. Whether it's for fur, food, or whatever else, killing animals is definitely so f*cking wrong.

That was the absolute saddest thing I have EVER seen! I cant believe someone actually has the heart to do that. I understand there is no way to stop them... which sucks. Why do they have to be so cruel about it? If they are going to raise them and kill them just for their fur they could at least have the decency to kill them in a civil, less painful way!! There is NO REASON to skin those animals why they are still alive OR to bang their heads into the ground. bullsh*t!!!!! I f*cking hate people that are cruel to animals... I personally have two dogs and two cats.... I dont see how anyone could do this to animals and I cant see how anyone could honestly purchase the real sh*t... SOOOO CRUEL!!!!!!!!!!!

This is crazy. It is just horrible to think people actually do this crap. I bawled my eyes out watching that video. Thinking that those people have no hearts at all. I dont understand how anyone could treat an animal like this, its so discusting. I'm glad to see Tila is taking a stand, and Tila, whenever you need help I'll be here.

I am still overwhelmed by the video, I can't stop crying. I can't believe people would actually do that. You have to be a very cold and heartless person. They should be skinned alive, so they know how it feels!

omfg.... i knew that animal cruelty was bad but not this horrible. the raccoon was still alive after being skinned!!!! i stopped watching when they started on the next animal. i support you to the fullest tila!!!
