Well, some members of the Israeli media are insulted by this picture. The picture was taken while President Obama talked on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Apparently, it is taboo and insulting in many parts of Israel to show the bottom of your shoes. HELLOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was in the Oval Office on Pennsylvania Avenue in the good ol' United States. Furthermore, he was talking on the phone not in person. Really people get a life!! Israel and the United States have a lot bigger issues to confront besides the soles of President Obama's shoes.
