What Do Michelle Obama, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy & Tila Tequila Have In Common?

On twitter, my new favorite hangout, fridays are called "follow friday" where users give suggestions of friends to follow. This Friday I am thrilled to say people are following their hearts! In my heart today is Tila Tequilla (follow her at @officialTila)- who has contributed greatly to what is already a monumental week for animals and the people who fight the good fight for them. Our blogger, Tila Tequilla, trumped all of our other celebrity bloggers by handing in the most viewed and commented blog in the history of Global Grind on the subject of animal abuse

Overnight, more and more people were introduced to the horrors of the fur trade, all because she had the heart to speak up. Then, this morning I was just speaking to my friend Dan Mathews, VP of Peta, who told me that America's first lady, Michelle Obama and France's first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy have declared themselves FUR FREE!!! This day marks a shift in human consciousness. We are finally, after years of going head to head with the fur industry, changing the way the world views fur. It is no longer being viewed as a way to floss and show off your status or bank account- it is now a billboard of cruelty on people's back. So, on Follow Friday I celebrate these victories with all my friends in the animal rights movement and now I will do what I always do, put my head down and get back to work.

We have very very far to go until all animals are liberated from pain and suffering..but dare I say, we are on our way.

Okay i think that it is great that Tila Tequila posted that video. And to the people that are talking mess about Tila,its kinda pathetic don't you think. Do anyone know her personally,didn't think so. So why would you feel the need to talk trash a person you don't even know. i would say your the ignorant one.

Has ANYONE actually heard Tila speak??? My god, do not compare her to the first lady! So she posted that video- that someone else made- wow! Did you watch the one about her rumors.. 'like, hearsay equals rumors and rumor equal hearsay" Sorry, she is not smart.

What a disgrace to have Tila Tequila in the same sentence as the First Lady. All she does is post on Twitter 24-7, when she's not putting on webcam shows that feature her pole dancing and smoking cigarettes. Does she even have a life? Wow, big deal - she posted a nauseating video of animals getting killed for fur. There is an agenda behind everything she does and it all goes back to self promotion and garnering attention so she can keep putting money in her pocket. She feeds on the weaknesses of perverted men who live for any type of acknowledgment from her. She may be a talentless hack, but she's not stupid.

- It's just proof that more and more people are becoming more talk than action.
  You can say you support a million different causes, but just like her, most people will do nothing more than just SAY they do, rather than contribute to it.

What do you do Alexis? Spend your time online putting down people 24/7, starting stupid sh*t? I think Tila Tequila is a great leader and should be put in high categories as the First Lady. - She does too contributes to the whole Animal Cruelty cause. She doesn't wear fur, she doesn't eat meat, and she post videos to show people that they should do it too. Even if it's a small deed, at least she's doing something. What are you doing? Talking about her? Spamming the website to put her down? Save your time and do something for the better of the world.

This is fantastic. I was once a fan of fur, even had a jacket in high school, that was until I saw the episode with Khloe Kardashian endorsing the PETA campaign. The videos shown were simply horrific! Glad to see us as a people waking up to these practices. Hope it ends forever.
