I am sadden that Jay Z refused to perform if Chris Brown performed. I am hoping this is all rumor. I am calling on all artist to call J and B out on this rumor. Michael Jackson believed in Second Chances and no one knows what really happened with Riri and CB. She did admit to busting her own brother in the head with a bottle. Jay is no saint either. I love Beyonce but that was no tribute to MJ last night nor was J's performance. CB work embodied the King of Pop. Shame on BET. It was ok to let b*tch and whore fly over the mic but not Chris Brown, a proven dedicated young man who made a mistake. I guess fame has gone to some of our heads or maybe their politcal involvement. Thank you Michael for healing the world with your beautiful voice and enormous heart. If ever you were guilty of anything - it is that your heart was too big and filled with too much love. As far as I am concerned, that's not a crime.

Yes, we will miss MJ and we should not forget to pray for his family during this difficult time. MJ gave us so much- now we need to pay it forward. We have another Angel(MJ) helping us to make this place on earth better.We can't fail !!

I saw that 'tribute' to MJ last night. Yes, MJ is to be honored; there is to be a retrospective, of sorts! But what about the future? Is HE, MJ, not to live on in the 'here and now'? Is he not to have a...corporeal presence? This leads to the obvious: who will be the 'next MJ', not that there can be another, NO, but we MUST have an heir apparent! That person was NOT at that BET award/tribute to MJ; that person IS Chris Brown!

Michael Jackson owned what he did. People are comparing him to Elvis but you really can not compare him to Elvis. Michael Jackson was an innovator. Elvis was not an innovator. People talked bad about Michael Jackson while he was alive. Now, everybody is running out and buying his CDs. This is ridiculous. You never miss the well, until the water runs dry. Nobody can do it like Michael Jackson did it and never will be able to. He was truly a musical genius. They are not even words to descibe how talented Michael Jackson was. It am still in a state of shock. My young nephew said it is like the whole world is in mourning.

I grew up with Michael Jackson, the Jackson 5, the Jackson's, it's a sad day in America and the world.

He will be sorely missed but his music will be with us forever. The world is crying!

Since I was a kid I've been a Michael Jackson fan. To here he passed was a shock to my system. I remember when he came to Kansas City to the Chiefs stadium in concert. I had my curl beat it jacket and of course the penny loafers. All the music the dance moves hell who don't know how to moonwalk. If you dont you tried. It was a great loss that nobody was ready for. I watched a speical yesterday with my 4 year old, He was so amazed at the moves at the man. My son started trying to dance like him and said, Daddy look I'm Micheal Jackson. I remember telling my pop's I was Micheal Jackson. I will never forget.
