I have to say I'm very excited to see what the good folks at Black Entertainment Television have in store for us with this year's BET Awards. With the unfortunate passing of Michael Jackson, I heard BET has decided to give the show an extra hour for a proper tribute to the King of Pop. Even MJ's father, Joe Jackson will be in attendance tonight. They're also lengthening the length of the red carpet and making some other major adjustments to account for all the celebrities who have decided to come out in honor of Mike at the last minute.
I'm about to order my pizza, and get it popping for the next three or four hours on my couch. Let's see how BET handles what is undoubtedly the biggest awards show they've ever done.
