Beyonce Apologized To Letoya Luckett

Rumors of a rift have been rife since Luckett and pal LaTavia Roberson were kicked out of the girl band they co-founded with Beyonce and Kelly Rowland in 2000.

The rejected pair subsequently filed suit against the group's manager, Beyonce's dad Mathew Knowles, accusing him of a breach of partnership; the matter was settled out of court.

Reports of an ongoing feud continued to circulate after the BET Awards on Sunday (28Jun09), and Beyonce was forced to deny claims her management team had demanded event bosses ban Luckett from singing at the ceremony in Los Angeles if they wanted the Crazy In Love star to perform.

Luckett has admitted the pop diva pair's past differences are now firmly behind them and reveals they found time for a brief catch-up backstage at the awards show.

She says, "We did get a chance to see each other backstage and it was really cool. I hadn't seen her in a while. She went out of her way to get around security to basically apologize and say, "Hey girl. It's cool."

omg... I'm so over Beyonce outside of her performing. Too much extra iish goes down that seems to make her out to really be a bad person... but the girl can sing her ass off && really that's all we are sopposed to care about!

Honestly Latoya can't sing....You can make sum hits & even entertain with the help of technology, she may hold a note & sing a bit,but she can't Sang!

A week ago she played it so innocently and claimed she didn't know anything about it - but now she's apologizing?! Beyonce's so transparent, it's a wonder more people can't see thru the facade. Then again, not everyone's a good judge of character.

SMH @ jasminetaihreen ..are you serious?? Everybody knows that Beyonce can sing with 3 types of vocal ability. Oprah, R&B, jazz, ect. She is clearly the more talented. People love her in spite of her husband or father. Beyonce is the most sought after female artist.. you'd have to have been living on another planet not to have known that. I've seen her perform live and Letoya may have some talent, but she can't hold a candle to bey..I don't know who can out-perform her period.. the girl is past fly.. she's clearly the sh*t.. You do a survey and ask 10 people who they'd prefer to see live.. bey would have it hand down.. hating is sooooooo unattractive..especially on a female.. boo, STOP IT.. you're embarrassing yourself.. seriously

i feel that beyonce really did have something to apologize for...because if she didn;t why did she...maybe it was something that we will never know about...everybody know the outside story but no one really knows what happened but the people that were involved...

Why do everyone believe in every RUMOR placed out there to the public GEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

With Power comes control, it exists everywhere. People need to grow up and accept that fact. Stop hating and congratulate, if you all were in the same situation, you would probably do the same thing ... so stop pretending to be above Beyonce and Jay-Z and their management team. And I am not saying these words because I am a superfan of either of their work, so don't get it twisted.

First off, Beyonce has nothing to worry about when it comes to singing nor performing. Her long lasting career speaks volumes. Bey continue to reinvent her music and can fit into any fad, so I doubt it if her management team tried to prevent LaToya from performing at the BET awards. LaToya is beautiful & slightly talented, however, she can not hold a candle to Bey. Sorry, but that's the truth!

- Wow are you serious? Umm LeToya BY FAR has a better singing voice than Beyonce. When DC first came out it was always said that while Beyonce had the looks she had the weakest voice out of the crew.
  
  And for you to sit here and "doubt" Beyonce didnt have them stop LeToya from being on the show--PSSSSSSSSSSSSSH Her husband stopped Chris Brown by saying He AND Her would not perform if Chris did so I dont doubt for SECOND that the strong-arming tactics swing both ways. Bey herself has said the main thing in their relationship is POWER.
  
  I said it once and I will say it again--Beyonce & Jay-Z are on huge ego-inflated power trips for NO DAMN REASON. Her "B'Day" album was mediocre at best and this one is a little better. She's hitting her career climax NOW so she better enjoy riding the crest of this wave bc its abt to come crashing down for both her and Joe Camel.
