I’m not exactly sure what’s going on with Soulja Boy, but he had a total meltdown on twitter last night and some of his celebrity friends offered up words of encouragement. I’ve cut some of the irrelevant parts of his vent out but here’s the gist of what he posted before his team deleted it from his twitter early this morning:

My music dream was THE SH*T 2 years ago before I was signed. It was everything I could ever imagine. Then I get signed. this is where my dream slowly died.. these c*****z wanna criticize a ni**a. Take REAL SH*T and turn it to trash. Water down my music and my appearance and make me look like something I’m not. THESE C******S DONT KNOW WHO THE F**K I REALLY AM!!! I go to the studio make new music for my fans to enjoy and party to. They take my sh*t hate on me. Make me look ignorant in the media. It’s all bullsh*t. Like WHY do I have to put up with this? because it’s my dream? that sh*t died when crank that went #1

I know what you thinking. But SOULJA BOY its the American dream your rich I would kill to be in your shoes. thats what you THINK its all BS! They say soulja boy u changed. soulja boy u hollywood I ain’t ask for this SH*T!!!!!! I want it to go back to how it was before i was signed I might be soundin crazy now.. I don’t really know about alot of things these days. But I just want EveryBODY to know this sh*t. Just KNOW that i’m only 18 man… And it’s only so much I can do. It’s only so much I can take. If your really fans and love and support me. You would hear me out and help ya boy get thru this sh*t.. I know everybody is gonna have opinions on the things that i’m saying right now.. but there it is. I’m not perfect.

When much is given much is required. Think about before you ask to be someone else. Your just asking for their problems. More money More problems.

wow what's wrong with so many people and their negative comments. why try to bring him down, and at the RamshaAleeze that's so proud that they said he was boring, and the person feel they got a response from him so they feel special! are u kiddin me. who's boring him or U watching him on ustream dissing to get attention. i feel bad for him, his young, and apparently his having a tough time, why do people always try to tear others down. for example this post coulda been titles something else, yet they called it "meltdown" knowing what connotation it has (shrugs).

Damn i love Soulja boy.. i remember i was watching him on u-stream once and i was in a funny mood, i said 'you're boringgggg' and i was only playin i knew that he was up on an aeroplane and he was bored.. like who wouldnt be.. he took me serious and even went offline and post something on twitter saying ' i aint usually borin like that bla bla' and i knew it was cause of me.. he's jus plain sesitive i've neva met him in my life and i know exactly what he's like.. leave him in peace

That's some bullsh*t! If u got a problem with certain white people you need to address them cause it sounds like he's addressing all white folks and they're probably the main ones buying his sh*t. Cause I aint buying it and I don't know anybody that is, so homeboy maybe in trouble if white folks decided to boycott his ass. I mean just think about this being said by a white person and he/she is using n*ggas instead of crackers, all hell would break loose. I feel for him he's just a baby. I'm not a huge fan of his music, but as a person I hope he figures it out or gets some people around him that have his best interest in mind. He has a very long way to go, in regards to personal growth and the industy. This sounds like a job for Ladies Love Cool J. L did it at that age,and he's still here. Real talk he could probably mentor the young fella. Help the young boy L

The only reason I remember Soulja Boy is because Ice-T told him to "eat a dick" in a YouTube video. Soulja Boy responded appropriately, laughing him off for being so damned old.

I thought that was really weak of Ice-T to say such unpleasant words to a young entertainer. Why did he say that?

Now, Soulja Boy is allowing this jealousy to get to him and he's become angsty and testy.

Here's the deal - when a young guy is under siege by passive-aggressive types, the last thing you want to do is try to prove anything to them.

They are counting on you spinning your wheels and exhausting yourself. Instead, bury your face in a woman's bosom and forget your troubles.

Then go through the motions, adhere to your contractual obligations and think of the woman or women you'll be going home to.

Just don't get drawn into the idea you have to prove authenticity or something.
