Jazmine, i respect you - you are straight up, even if i don't agree with you, even if you think i'm an idiot. You have passion. I'm a live and let live black woman. My son is gay and I love him. Russell is an inspiration for me because he sees the good in everyone. I read his book, Do You, which Oprah turned me onto. I am proud to be a single mother because in my case being married was not an option - too much pain. So when I see Global Grind fighting for human decency, it speaks to me. I think black women deserve more respect than they get. this makes me mad as hell. Why can't black men respect black women? They treat white women 100% better. They spend money on them, treat them like queens. And if they are with black women, they b*tch and whine and ask why they have to spend so much money. I have seen this happened with my own eyes. MY boyfriends all have been black men, and when i asked them why they won't marry, not one of them had answer. Jazmine, i so feel you. I suffered through a marriage to a black man you don't want to know. No white woman caused my suffering, my scars and my bruises. And no white woman in that mix - just pain. My son is my life. He so wanted to be straight, I saw him try through all his teenage years. He's an athlete, a handsome young man. But he's gay. What can I do? I don't feel cheated by white women. I don't feel cheated by God. Life is what it is. My son is in the closet because he is on a college sports scholarship. But he has a loved one. Another athlete. Being Gay is not natural for Human beings. The purpose of all life is to procreate and continue, otherwise all species would die out. Let's take a look at nature. All fruits have seeds...if they don't have seeds they are man made. Seedless grapes, raisins, oranges, etc. are all anomalies in nature. Without seeds...how could they continue to reproduce? Look at Humans. The same question is raised. How can Man and Woman reproduce without yielding "seeds"? Meaning, without having heterosexual relations? We cannot. The species would not exist very long if every man chose a man and every woman chose a woman as a mate. It's quite simple.

Furthermore...what upsets me is the proliferation of this abomination going on in Hollywood. It's promoted on the television as well as the big screen as something that is natural or "okay". Don't Gay bash is the message. Well...I agree that Humans need not bash each other violently for any reason other than for protection. But don't try to teach the babies that being gay is okay. It's not. It upsets me further when gay couples want to adopt children. Why you say? Shouldn't everyone have the right to a family unit?

Actually...no. Everyone should not. When you make the choice as a man to sleep with another man, or the choice as a woman to sleep with another woman, you give up your NATURAL right to have offspring. Understand that choosing that lifestyle comes with pros and cons. The pros of a two male income home may be good for you...but the cons are you don't get to have children...period!
