I'm off to South Africa for Russell Simmons Diamond Empowerment Fund. DEF is a non-profit organization that aims to empower disadvantaged people in African nations where diamonds are a natural resource, through education. Some people online have been judging me for my charity work with the DEF. No charity work should ever be judged, it's just wrong. We can all do something to help!

I am so excited about the trip! Has anyone ever been?? Or is anyone from South Africa?

Oops, Khadijah Williams is dark skinned, does not wear a weave and is not trying to screw or strip for a profession. Never mind.
    • UR FUNNY...LOL
    • @ KD, I am just tired of this BET mentality. Sidebar: I have been telling folks off since I had a near death experience approximately two weeks ago. Yes, haters, I am still here to do God's will, even if folks don't like it. : - )

  • you go Kim.....it feels so good to do for others who arent as fortunate as us. it changes your heart to give a hungry child a piece of bread.it makes you apreciate what you got.to see a smile on their face is gonna make all the judging on the internet seem like nothing...dont worry girl keep your head up and do what you do....love u
  • Okay, I don't have anything against Kim Kardashian, but for her to say "No charity work should ever be judged, it's just wrong." Nobodies judging the charity work. Their judging the person doing the charity work. Maybe some people think she doesn't deserve it. I mean there are more people out there who can represent it better. But I am not hating on the fact that she is doing the charity work. More power to her for helping out. I just think she needs to quit saying a lot of people are judging her online because why the f*** should it matter! It's so annoying how she is so worried about what people think of her. I can tell she is so worried about her outer appearance and what people think of her by watching her first season. All that extra stuff she does isn't necessary. Seriously, she's a nice person but sometimes the actions she takes doesn't make any sense! We are all human and we make mistakes but too many more than one isn't a mistake if its repetitive. Anyway, wish her and her man luck with their "charity work" in Africa or whatever she's doing there. But all these people saying she's wrong/a ho/ blah blah...she's already there so leave it alone. I usually don't comment on these things but after seeing two articles on globalgrind.com about it, I had to express my opinion. Have a nice day everyone =)
    • U STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    • And what a wack opinion it is!!!! So when you going to Africa?? Do I need to check your background?? Cuz we have toooo many people tryna help and we don't want anybody that has a bad rep in the media. This just sounds stupid.
  • Kim keep up the good work :) you are
a great person with great influence and you choose
to use it for good. I don't think people realize you could be at home doing nothing but instead you care about people and want to be active and help those you have compassion for smart girl!
  • I LOVE KIM AND HER FAMILY.. I WISH I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD DOING CHARITY WORK LIKE MOST OF THESE CELEBRITIES... THE GREAT THING ABOUT HELPING OTHERS IS YOU LEARN TO APPRECIATE UR LIFE AND WHAT YOU HAVE... CLEAN RUNNING WATER IS A PRIVILEGE, WE SHOULD BE SO LUCKY. IF ANYONE IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS PLEASE HIT ME UP AT KHADIJAH_412@YAHOO.COM.....

YOU HAVE TO PAY RENT ON GODS EARTH AND THE CREATOR DOESN'T TAKE CASH OR CREDIT...LOL
  • Firstly KIM K needs to know that Botswana is not in South Africa these are two different countries..do yo research first miss..
  • Excuse my ignorance. I'm South African and haven't heard anything about the work DEF has done or will do. Please could you let us know where in SA you will be and what exactly it is you will be bringing awareness to and which other ogranisations have you partnered with?
  • MY FATHER WENT TO AFRICA!
  • Welcome to Africa! I'm a South African journalist....work in Joburg. Love what you're doing for the DEF! A few of our journo's have been trying to get hold of you....we're very excited to see you in the City of Gold. Good luck and have a great time!!!
  • Wow!! Jazmine, I obviously don't know you but you must have some SERIOUS issues if a celebrity can get you THAT angry! If you hate Kim so much, why do you keep reading articles that pertain to her? Why not just ignore it and do something productive with your time?

Kim haters just hate b/c you have the lifestyle they want, they're envious. Props to you for your charity work. While you're out trying to make a difference in the world, your haters will be sitting on their asses, surfing the web and bashing you. Clearly some people (the haters) who post 35 comments bashing you, aren't very productive citizens.

Do your thing and remember in the end the only opinions that matter are those of your family and God.

  • Kim, Live your life girl, "those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind". I give you props you made a living for yourself since you were young. And now your helping others. I would love to see you helps other here in america. Theres so many here who need your help. But good for you for helping. I know it has got to be hard for you hearing all the negative crap, but sad, jealous, mean people say hurtful things because they are hurting. Live your life enjoy and forget the haters.
