Jay-Z isn't the only rapper who has a book in the works. Several other artists have also signed contracts to publishing houses recently.
Q-Tip, of the legendary Tribe Called Quest, has committed to releasing a "tell-all" with Ballantine Books. It'll be a glance into his life before rap, and when he moved into the limelight, both with the group and after.
Styles P of the Lox has also disclosed that he's working on a novel, Mr. Invincible, due for release later this year. He tells Forbez:
"I'm getting my author up. I just wanted to make sure I'm comfortable and got a few things I could do that I enjoy doing. I'm a creative person and I like creating. So I just wanted another job where I could create and make some money and doing something that I like to do."
