My homegirl Joy Daily spotted Kelis and the baby out and about earlier today and captured some pics on her camera phone. Joy tells me that she spotted her going into a coffee shop on 23rd street and she almost didn’t recognize her because she didn’t have any bodyguards. She also said Kelis looked extremely overjoyed. According to Kelis’s twitter page, she has hired a 24 hour nurse but was thinking about sending her home because she felt like she was under 24 hour surveillance. I don't know too much about babies, but is it healthy to bring the baby out so soon especially being that it's so humid and hot right now? Knight is a newborn.

- Yes, it is perfectly fine to have the baby out this early (ofcourse, you want to shield him/her from unnecessary germs), but Kelis should be careful not to be too exposed until after her 6 wks. One of the risks is your body 'swelling' to the degree that it makes you look as if you have been beatem severely. However, the baby is fine as long as she makes sure to use a blanket, etc. to shield him from any unwarranted people's germs :)

$50,000 for one baby is more salary than some people make what a joke! Its not like she had sextuplets. This ruling is so ridiculous. Man you can easily get a non working relative or your mom to watch that baby who truly love that child. Like I am sure you will still do and collect that fat check.

This lady is like most nowadays believe they can endure 9 months for 18 an year meal ticket. What a shame and you are not retired or disabled. Get back in shape and get a job and get up off your excuses. You can easily do a reality show or some other stuff to pay some of your bills yourself. You set a bad example for young girls with this get rich with a baby scheme. I cant imagine if you had two or three how much you would ask for.

- Kelis only wants to let go of the nurse because she feels she is being watched...and the nurse probably asked: Why am I here...Kelis is not doing anything to need a nanny anyway! Kelis is trying to live the the life style of the rich and famous! Kels si a mediocre artist at best...and when this divorce is final...she will be well forgotten! when wa the lasttime people gave Kelis this much attention! Where was all the support for Kelis when her album flopped?

good momns don't need a 24 hour nurse...your the one suppose to be there 24/7 for your child...she is not on tour and hasn't been doing too much for a minute so i don't even know why she thought she need a 24 hr nurse/waste of money

- i agree with that she needs to be spending more time with her baby not the nurse. we will see how that works out when the baby grow up and will be calling the nanny or nurse mom and her kelis i know moms don't come with instructions you learn as you go. she probably wasn't ready just needed a meal ticket
