She is now the talk of the blogs after divorcing her husband (rapper Nas) and receiving a hefty check each month for alimony and child support.

This should be a lesson to all men, Stop marrying these wack ass broads (can't turn a whore into a housewife) type of female. If you're blessed with finances, sign a prenuptial agreement. Protect your assets fellas. If she wasn't with you from day one, treat her like a potential enemy. Also, if she's lacking, she's lazy, she gets obese after one baby? Leave her stankin ass in the dust! Word to the wise, Vagina isn't priceless, your sanity is!

There are two parents in this situation. So two parents should be made to support the child not just one. It doesnt matter if she has the child physically more than him. It should be a 50/50 split. She is no better than his 1st baby mom's who probably dont get half that amount.

I dont care anything about her needed to maintain a lifestyle. If she wants the kid to have that lifestlye the child should live with the father who can provide that kind of lifestyle. She needs to figure out how to support herself. Cause I can assure you he can not pay 44k a month for the next 18 years. Rappers dont make that kind of money, and he is already past him prime. So unless he becomes a movie star or super producing rapping aint going to pay that bill for 18 years.

So when the water runs dry and she hasnt done anything to support herself what to do then? So hopefully she gets a job. Hollywood and TV likes those young thangs, but when you get up there and start to not look so young you dont get work.

I don't know why all these females and males are hating on Kelis. If you were in her shoes you would want the same for your child and yourself. Remember the judge decided on what they thought was appropriate based on what NAS could afford!

- really? its not ''hating'' it's saying that giving someone 50k a month for a baby is retarded . what does she or the child need with 50k a month they both made that child i don't believe he got a fair case and it should be a realistic amount of money and not 50k because the majority is to just help her maintain a life style and you know it cuz if she was a real ''Boss'' she would've let him keep his own got dam money and said F* it.
