Jury Expected To Give C-Murder Verdict Today

Numerous reports are predicting the jury in the Corey "C-Murder" Miller murder trial could come back with a verdict as early as today (August 11).

Miller's attorney, Ron Rakosky, wrapped up his closing arguments this morning.

Miller is being tried for the second time (his previous trial resulted in a mistrial) for his role in the 2002 murder of 16-year-old Steve Thomas.

Prosecutors paraded a train of 13 witnesses in front of the court, two who claimed to have seen Miller shoot the victim.

In an effort to ensure his client receives a fair trial, Rakosky is reportedly seeking another mistrial, claiming prosecutors made a deal with one of the witnesses in exchange for his testimony.

Despite previously reported claims that another man, Juan Flowers, had admitted to committing the murder, Rakosky failed to produce any live witnesses.

If convicted, Miller would be facing a mandatory life sentence in prison.

I look up 2 C being a TRU Boot n*gga I lived in Baton Rouge in 97 and 98 99 when C was there I used 2 see him and Mac out all the time I was praying he would beat this charge so I could work with him and do a movie on his life because he and Mac and Soulja and Mystikal were the back bone of No Limit even if he did do it these youngstars these days will make you kill them as disrespectful as they are just ask the teachers in schools, but speakin from me and the part of Baton Rouge thats ran by C Loc God Bless u thug Im gone keep it Tru till I see ya if not till they lock me in...

If you were from New Orleans, you would know that c-murder is not beating a life sentence, especially in jefferson parish but who are any of us to judge what becomes of him...only GOD can make that decision.

Nah...but for real tho...if he did the crime...he deserves the bars that come with it. Bottom line.

I'm not here to say that he is neither innocent or guilty. I wasn't there. It is not my place. But it is my place to pray for that man and every other man, woman, and child.

Rakosky is a good attorney. But remember "doing an act" and the windowed virtual act are two completely different things. You can't hire me as an attorney, but that does not mean I understand truth and justice. The extortion and black mail on my own case is historic on its level of corruption directly linked to the US Government.
