We are out with MTV, VH1 and BET supporting Lil Wayne and his work on a joint network, celebrity effort to get kids to stay in school, called “Get Schooled”. He did a really cool public service announcement for us and we want to spread the word to real world supporters.

To all of those who commented, it's great that Wayne is encouraging our young adults to stay in school. The next step it to edify them about the past as to understand the present andd the future. There is so much our young adults don't understand. We as their mentors, icons, and educators need to do it make ourselves available and extend our past knowledge and current experiences in a POSITIVE way to guide them in their paths for the future.

i think that he did good cause it shows that hes giving back.more and more celeberities should do this cause kids think that school isnt cool.then this could make a change

Lil wayne is simply the most genius enertainer ,rapper ever. he knows his way around the place and holds him self up with his known pride. Hes not " typical " , because typical can even begin to describe this man. He will succeed more than he alredy has, hes beyond different . hes phenomenal.

I LIKE THIS A LOT BECAUSE A A LOT O PEOPLETHINK THAT IT'S COOL NOT TO GO TO SCHOOL, BUT THEY REALLY NEED TO STAY IN SCHOOL BECAUSE THE STREET LIFE ONLY LAST FOR SO LONG. THANK U LIL WAYNE FOR DOING THIS. I KNEW THAT U ALWAYS HAVE A GOOD HEART AND MAYBE PEOPLE WOULD STOP JUDING U FOR YOUR MUSIC ALL THE TIME AND REALLY SIT DOWN AND GET TO KNOW YOU.
