SMG recording Hip-Hop group Trillogy were honored to accept the award for Song Of The Year at the 2009 Underground Music Awards (UMA) in NYC last Sunday (August 23). The Song Of The Year award is already the group's second UMA trophy after winning Most Original Hip-Hop Group in 2008.

"Trillogy is very honored and thankful for winning the Song Of The Year award for The Future at the 2009 UMA's. It's a testament to a lot of hard work and the amazing support and guidance of our record label Starr Media Group. Being recognized for your work is one of the highest compliments that you can get. We would like to thank our fans, DJs and anyone who helped us thus far!"

Furthermore Trillogy, hailed as the most promising new Hip-Hop group by the media and industry insiders, performed the song We Made It live on stage with Hip-Hop heavyweight Freeway during the award ceremony.

Trillogy is currently working on their hugely anticipated debut album Love, Life, Loyalty that features the hit single, Warning -- which is in heavy rotation on radio stations throughout the country and receives incredible feedback coming in from influential DJs. Major producers like Louie "Phat Kat" Vega (Queen Latifah, Nice & Smooth, Gangstarr), Jim Jonsin (T.I., Soulja Boy, Lil Wayne) and Soul Diggaz (Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce) will help to make Love, Life, Loyalty a classic.
