this is the second year in a row Obama blew off this event. It get's planned a year in advance; one would think that would be enough notice. sheesh

I admire Smiley and the Obamas and hope Tavis gives an explanation of his thought process on this one. Michelle is a fine speaker and her husband is a little busy at the moment. Peace.
