DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nationally-syndicated sports talk show “The Jim Rome Show” made the
biggest leap up the RadioTime Top 19 Programs list. RadioTime, Inc., a
developer of technology for finding and listening to radio online, today
released the August list, a ranking of the most listened-to programs on
RadioTime.com for the month of August 2009. The list, which RadioTime
updates monthly, features some well-known programs and demonstrates how
RadioTime enables users to discover lesser-known shows airing around the
world.
“The Jim Rome Show” ranks 11, up from 16 on the July list. Political
talk dominate the five most popular programs: “Rush Limbaugh,” “Glenn
Beck,” “Steve Harvey,” “The Savage Nation” and “The Sean Hannity Show.”
Two programs make the list for the first time. “The Stephanie Miller
Show” debuts at number 18 and ESPN’s “Mike and Mike in the Morning”
makes its first appearance at number 19.
“We were heading into the Fall sports season, and with the baseball
pennant races heating up and the start of the NFL preseason, it’s not
surprising we see more RadioTime users tuning into sports talk shows
like Jim Rome and The Musers, on KTCK Dallas Texas,” said Dan
Halyburton, President, RadioTime.com. “The RadioTime.com Top 19 Programs
list shows which programs are the favorites among our users right now,
and while we also saw many users look for comic relief with Steve
Harvey, politics remains front-and-center on many peoples’ minds.”
