The good thing that came out of the situation between Kanye and Taylor is the huge exposure she got. As it took someone like Kanye who is well known to many music listeners who listens to all kinds of genres, and not just country. Whereas those who just listen to country music, only listen to country music. It usually takes the person who takes the initiative to do things upon themselves to strike up the conversation among all.

- True she did get a lot of exposure, but I want to say she outsold Kanye. I'm not sure if it's because Country has more fans than hip hop, or because Country fans actually buy albums. Us Hip Hop fans need to quit downloading music illegally, and maybe labels would be offering more than just singles deals.

- it takes a person who is genuine to accept what went on at the time of the situation between Kanye and Taylor. Those who were judgemental on Kanye's behaviour at that time, doesn't see things from both sides. Taylor showed sincerity by not saying anything. And Kanye also showed sincerity by being true to himself. Afterall, being sincere is part of what you believe in, especially when it comes to music. Taylor and Kanye both believed in themselves to be where they are at now and what they have accomplished so far in the music industry. Both deserves an applaud for their willingness, time, and effort, despite the competitiveness that went on between them.

I cant believe how many of yall really hating on Kanye...who gives a sh*t about his attitude?? He exists because he makes good music...lets keep it there...if we judge all of the artist we buy...there wont be a music scene because they all have flaws...we know Kanye's timing may not have been the best, but at least he was speaking up for someone other than himself...WoW! the man is being sh*tted on for biggin up someone else's work...thats far from selfish and asshole like.

- I agree with you 100. I mean what Kanye did was shady but I don't even know him to say if I like him or not. I like his music. I respect him as an artist. That's all I care about. and if all the haters wanted to do Kanye wrong they wouldn't be talking about him. Press is press good or bad. Everyone is just getting his name out there more.

Like I said on another blog...Kanye may have actually been on to something...MTV can't have too many black people winning awards. It was the wrong place and time for him to express his thoughts but you known Kayne...he just don't care...period!
