Jay-Z earned his 11th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 this week with "The Blueprint 3," a record for a solo act in the history of the albums charts. The hip-hop mogul dethroned previous record-holder Elvis Presley, who had 10 No. 1 albums, according to Billboard.

Jay-Z's latest sold 476,000 copies last week, a strong debut compared with other recent chart-toppers, but he wasn't the only one burning up the charts.

The Beatles, who remain the overall record holders with 19 No. 1 albums, sold 626,000 copies of their reissued, remastered albums last week, nearly doubling the Fab Four's total sales for 2009. Since the beginning of the SoundScan era in 1991, the Beatles have reportedly never sold less than a million albums in a year.
