St. Louis rapper, J-Kwon may have been lost but now he is found. Over the past couple days, the Internet had run rampant with reports and talks concerning the safety and whereabouts of the rapper.

We at Drjays.com Live reported earlier that the rapper, behind such songs as “Tipsy” and “Hood Hop,” had been missing for over a month and his label, Gracie Productions had expressed extreme concern about the 24-year-old rapper’s unknown whereabouts. The label even went so far as to create a Twitter account where people could relay tips and any new information in order to solve the unofficial case in the hopes of finding him.

It was then reported Wednesday that close associates of the rapper claimed he had recently become introverted, distancing himself from those around him, including family and business personnel. Sources hinted that the once So So Def signed artist had been dealing with emotional issues.

J-Kwon’s manager and co-CEO of Gracie Productions, Dorian Washington revealed the news of J-Kwon being found late Thursday via a statement. He wrote:

"I am very happy to let everyone know that I personally spoke with J-Kwon today, and he is okay. He'd like to send a sincere apology to his friends and everyone who showed concern this week. He was taking some time to himself as he sometimes does, not realizing that people would start to worry after a while. A few days out of touch versus a month is quite a difference. Right now he just wants to keep doing what he's doing, and will be more available for those who care about him. We thank you again for your outreach, and we are relieved to know he'll be alright."

No word on if this recent and abrupt hiatus has halted the release of J-Kwon’s upcoming self-titled album, set to be released later this month. It is expected to be J-Kwon’s fourth studio release.

Publicity stunt or not, we are happy to hear that the rapper is safe and sound and in one piece.

Image: Artist Direct
