50 Cent preparing to go into surgery.

50 Cent caught us by surprise last night, tweeting out photos of him lying in a hospital bed - with a few stuffed animals by his side!

50 informed us that he would be getting surgery in the near future, the reason for which is still unknown.

Fiddy dodged the questions about his stay in the hospital, instead focusing on promotion for his new EP, due out next Tuesday.

He also tweeted to his buddy Floyd Mayweather: "I don't want to go into surgery. @FloydMayweather call my phone why your phone off."

DJ Drama thought partner 50 had a stomach virus and there's nothing to worry about.

He said about the illness:

"First they wanted to keep it quiet, but he’s not a quiet guy. He should be cool. It’s nothing that serious. We still gonna do our promo."

The promo is scheduled for today, so clearly the surgery was not on the serious side.
