This is almost hard to look at! Basketballer Amar'e Stoudemire seems to have gotten the baseball stitch treatment on his injured hand.
Amar'e punched a fire extinguisher case near the locker room of the AmericanAirlines Arena after his New York Knicks lost Game 2 of their first-round series against the Miami Heat, and lived to tweet the gruesome photo of it.
The injury was reported to be bad enough to keep the star player out of the Knicks' game 3 and possibly even the final rounds of the series.
Amar'e claims he swung his hands back and hit the glass, splitting his hand nearly in half. The Knick tweeted the photo of the stitched up injury with the following tweet:
That must have been an instant moment of anger followed by absolute regret.
