According to Deadline, filmmaker Steve Pink will rewrite and direct Bad Santa 2. The main character in the original movie, actor Billy Bob Thornton, will also return to the cast.

Billy Bob Thornton is best known for his roles in Sling Blade and Monster's Ball and for tongue kissing Angelina Jolie on red carpets like his life depended on it. 

Pink already directed the funny film Hot Tub Time Machine and produced Knight and Day starring Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise.
