Two guys walk into a bar. No, seriously, two guys walk into a bar and then one of them leaves with Brooklyn Decker‘s heart.

Battleship begins with two brothers, Lt. Alex Hopper, played by Taylor Kitsch, and his older brother Commander Stone Hopper, played by Alexander Skarsgard, who starts off the film giving his little brother a good ribbing about being a slacker for his birthday.

That’s when the beautiful Sam, played by Brooklyn Decker, walks into the bar wanting a chicken burrito.

If that’s not the best way to kick off a movie about the classic Hasbro board game Battleship, then I don’t know what is.

After some cleaning up, we get to know Lt. Alex Hopper, a loose cannon, who lives in his brother’s shadow in the US Navy, but when an alien invasion attacks the coast of Hawaii, he finds himself the man tasked with saving humanity. Not a big deal or anything.

Battleship is filled with witty one-liners, amazing special effects, explosions and fight scenes that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Getting a lot of praise for her big screen debut, Rihanna is in this one for the long run. She impresses with her acting skills and the Bajan singer provides an excellent addition with her wise cracks throughout. They add that special something to the film that keeps the audience wanting more.

So this weekend when you go to the theater, be sure to check out Battleship. Get your tickets HERE. You can thank us later!
