Beyonce Played The Back To Let Hova Shine In NYC (PHOTOS)

Beyonce might be one of the most popular singers in the business, but that doesn't mean she doesn't know how to play the back and let her man shine.

Beyonce Debut New Braids In New York City

The "Love On Top" singer debuted her new box braids, but she kept it low key when Jay-Z stopped by Nas' private dinner at Bagatelle in New York City. So low key, that Jay-Z had to point her out to Nas as the boys took shots and cracked jokes while Bey kicked it a separate table with some of her friends.

According to the Daily News:

While Hova made a beeline for his buddy Nas, who was celebrating the release of his new album, “Life Is Good,” a day early, Beyoncé staked a spot farther away from the group of guys and held court at a separate table. Sporting summer braids and a pair of short shorts, Beyoncé caught up with a number of friends and acquaintances who came over to chat. Meanwhile, Jay-Z was welcomed by his onetime rival with a big bear hug. The two shared a round of tequila shots along with Jermaine Dupri, Wale, producer No ID and other Def Jam employees.

That doesn't mean that Beyonce won't have her own girl time. Bey is scheduled to make a stop in Miami, and Kim Kardashian might extend her schedule to kick it with Beyonce.

KimYe will be down in Miami on Friday to host the Midori Beachside Bash, while Beyonce is set to hit MIA on Saturday for a Luli Lama Fashion show.

Considering the budding friendship building between these two, we can bet Kim and Beyonce will find a way to get in some girl time.
