Big President Obama supporter Beyonce Knowles will no longer star in director Clint Eastwood's remake of A Star Is Born, and now everyone is left wondering whether Bey's absence is because Clint so candidly criticized the President during this year's RNC.

Clint, who gave a memorable speech to an empty chair, which apparently represented President Obama, said that he cried when Barack was elected four years ago and cried much harder when years passed and millions were out of work.
The criticism did not stop there... Clint made his support for Mitt Romney very clear.

As we all know, Beyonce and Jay-Z are very public supporters of the Obamas, even hosting a fundraiser for the Prez a few weeks ago at Jay's own 40/40 Club, which raised millions of dollars for Barack's campaign.
Beyonce released this statement to E! News on Tuesday:
"I was looking forward to the production of 'A Star Is Born' and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood. For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together."
The remake, which had no start date and no definite leading man, is now also without a leading lady.
Though it's possible the difference in political stance could have affected the director-actress relationship, the real issue seems like a lack in ability to coordinate the film.
