Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated her 40th birthday in style with a small group of super important VIP friends at the posh restaurant Elio's on the Upper East Side of Manhattan last night.

Gwyneth walked in with her best friend Cameron Diaz and a few moments later, king Beyonce arrived!

The "Best Thing I Never Had" songstress pulled up in her $1 million dollar custom Benz van with a baby carriage in the back visible for all to see. Beyonce was escorted in by her bodyguard, who made sure Bey didn't miss a step.

This was mom's night out, as neither Jay nor baby Blue Ivy were anywhere to be seen.
