Once upon a time, Michael Jackson had a pet chimpanzee named Bubbles, he lived in an amusement park, slept in an oxygen chamber and went from Wesley Snipes to Clay Aiken in a matter of years.

Elvis Presley was larger than life, the Beatles only traveled by Yellow Submarine and Lady Gaga was born from a giant egg at the Grammys. So what’s wrong with Jay-Z and Beyonce?

Today’s most successful and powerful couple are well … normal. Instead of going to the Grammys to watch Nicki Minaj bring the Vatican to music’s biggest stage, they went to a local pizzeria and watched the Grammys there. Huh? No big giant party with an endless supply of Ace Of Spades? Where they do that at?

In Brooklyn apparently, because while it was reported that Beyonce was going to take Blue Ivy Carter on a yoga retreat in Tuscany, Italy – a lavish private resort where babies and parents can be awesome together – it seems like Italy has moved to Brooklyn. Instead of wine country, Blue Ivy has been getting a nice tour of Prospect Park in BK.

You see, it turns out that all celebrities who climb to the top of their lanes aren’t drugged out weirdos who have a fetish for self destructive habits and weird sh*t.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are actually quite normal. Jay-Z watches rappers on YouTube and Beyonce may or may not breast feed in public. She had a natural birth, takes care of her baby and goes to see The-Dream without make up and still looks beautiful keeping it casual.

Just goes to show you, being super rich and famous doesn’t mean you have to lose who you are. Jay-Z is still friends with the same people who he hung with in Marcy and Beyonce is still, well, Beyonce. Now, what’s so wrong with that? I’m just waiting for Jay-Z to be spotted walking through Brooklyn with Blue Ivy strapped to his chest. Now that’s swag!
