Brad Pitt visited the 9th Ward of New Orleans as part of his foundation's work, "Get It Right."

It seems like since talk show host Ellen DeGeneres purchased Brad Pitt's home, the two have been growing a friendship that extends beyond similar architectural tastes.

This past Friday, The Money Ball actor took Ellen on a tour of the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans, the area that suffered the most significant damage as a result of Hurricane Katrina.

Ellen, Brad and other celebrities, including Rihanna and Kanye West, are in town to support Brad's Make It Right Foundation gala.

Brad is using the gala as an opportunity to raise enough money to re-build around 150 homes in the hurricane damaged area.
