Customary with big Hollywood films are the red carpet premiere events and TV show appearances to promote the upcoming cinematic "masterpiece."
Breaking Dawn, starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, is no exception to this rule - even after costars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's seemingly abrupt break-up following her deception and cheating.
While KStew might have messed things up at home, she is still a noteworthy actress and Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon feels fans should still support her.
Condon spoke to Entertainment Weekly:
“The fact is, these are actors playing parts, and maybe it’s not such a bad thing that people be reminded of that,” Bill Condon tells EW.
“Both of these actors gave heart and soul to the Twilight movies, not only during shooting, but also by navigating so graciously the whole life-in-a-fishbowl aspect of the phenomenon.
Above all they have always shown great respect for the fans who made these movies such a success. Now it’s time that some of that respect be returned to them.”
Condon notes that KStew and RPattz delivered strong performances in the previous Twilight films and urges fans to continue backing the new film.
It will certainly be interesting when the onscreen-couple has to make appearances together - off-screen.
