Why Do We Hate Casey Anthony?

By now we all know the story of Casey Anthony. She is the Florida mom who was tried for the murder of her daughter, Caylee, and was found not guilty back on July 5th. I’m not going to get into the argument of whether the verdict was right of wrong. It’s too late for that.

One thing that we can all agree on is this: Casey Anthony is now the most hated woman in America. She has surpassed Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and all the Basketball Wives combined.  And that is saying a lot. She is hated so much that she has been in hiding since the verdict because she fears for her safety. Only recently has she surfaced in Ohio where she was seen shopping and wearing an Ohio State University cap. (As if OSU hasn’t had enough bad publicity with the Jim Tresell mess, now they have to deal with an alleged child killer wearing their gear.)

Anthony is hated so much that a poor woman in Oklahoma was run off the road because she looked like Casey. There is a certain level of bloodlust out there when it comes to Casey Anthony. And I totally understand it.
