At one point in time actors Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe were Hollywood's hottest couple. The two actors met in 1997 at Reese's 21st birthday party. They got married two years later in 1999 and started a family very quickly. The actors have two children Ava and Deacon.

The couple received a lot of attention for admitting that they attended couples counseling, citing that it was normal for them and that their marriage wasn't in trouble. Seven years later Reese filed for divorce claiming "irreconcilable differences" as the reason she was ditching Ryan.
