Charlize Theron may be getting ready for the world to see her as the Wicked Witch in Snow White and the Huntsman, but when it comes to her newly adopted son Jackson, it's all love.

The 36-year-old South African actress has always wanted to adopt, but she never dreamed she'd be a single mother.

US Weekly Reports:

"My mother found [a letter I wrote]. It said, 'Would you please take me to orphanage, so that I can go and adopt a baby?' I always knew I would adopt. Always."

She goes on to talk about being a single mom and explains how marriage has never been something that was on her mind. 

"You know, I don't think any mother aims to be a single mom. I didn't wish for that, but it happened." After breaking up with her boyfriend of 9 years the newly single Theron goes on to add, the idea of marriage "has never been that important to me. I don't know why exactly. Some might say it's because my parents didn't have a good marriage, but I don't think so. I treat my relationships like marriages. The ceremony isn't that important to me."

With two potential blockbusters getting ready to hit theaters this summer, we are sure she'll have no problem raising the baby on her own!
