Chevy Chase is leaving his hit show on NBC. 

DETAILS: Chevy Chase Says The N-Word On The Set Of Community

According to new reports, the television vet is leaving the show Community, but wants it to be known that he didn't get fired. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed the news, saying the split is effective immediately.

They also go on to cite that it is unclear whether Chevy's character will be written off or just never talked about ever again, but the exit won't hurt production.

Chase made news earlier in the year when he dropped the n-bomb after he got angry over some questionable remarks written for his character. He immediately apologized for using the n-word.
