Chris Brown and Rihanna may have their problems, but their fans definitely put them in the category of “a match made in heaven.”
The two might be adored by millions around the world, but apparently someone very close to Chris might not be a big fan of their relationship.
The Fortune singer’s father, Clinton Brown, recently allegedly spoke with the The Sun about Chris and RiRi’s rekindled relationship, and shared his fears.
He told them:
“I personally really didn’t want him and Rihanna back together. You have to have a balance in a relationship. You have to have someone who is spontaneous and whimsical but you also have to have someone who is grounded and logical.”
Clinton split from CB’s mother, Joyce Hawkins, when Brown was 6 but reportedly is a big presence in Brown’s life, Brown’s attraction to Ri Ri.He says:
“She’s beautiful, she’s exotic, she’s successful,”
Clinton then apparently used some examples of what he thinks Chris and Rihanna may end up like:
“I hate to use examples, but Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse — I mean I could go on and on! Is that a given — that you can’t have fortune and fame without (death) being the end result? Sometimes you just need that person who will listen to you without judging, who knows what it feels like. If he talks to someone who’s not in the business they may not understand.”
If there was someone else he would want Chris to date, he did say it was someone he’s worked with in the past:
“I personally liked Jordin Sparks. She’s a wholesome young lady, very pretty.”
He continued:
“One has to assume because they are back together that it wasn’t one-sided. You just have to imagine it was a circumstance in which they both had a disagreement.”
The Sun hasn’t always been the most credible source, so we’re not sure how valid this story may be but knowing Chrianna they won’t let this get in the way of their love.
It definitely doesn’t seem to even phase RiRi, since she posted some photos of her on Instagram last night looking to be in great spirits while on her Diamonds tour.
She even reunited with her best friend Melissa.
We’re glad to see that Rihanna isn’t letting the rumors get to her, and she can still be her party girl self!
