It became public that Rihanna recently vented to Oprah on her past relationship with Chris Brown in her "Next Chapter" interview and the star even shed some tears over her ex, but it appears Breezy is staying clear of the waterworks and getting some retail therapy in during his spare time.

With his girl, Karrueche Tran by his side, the R&B singer was spotted hitting the streets of NYC, doing some shopping.

 With a scruffy beard he was photo-ed walking ahead of Karrueche, hands in his cargo pockets, serving serious stone face.

The cargo pants look seems to be Chris' new thing. He was spotted just the day before rocking a similar pair in a different color.

Hopefully the 23 year old isn't as melancholy as he looks and the paps just caught him at a bad moment.
