Even though they look hopelessly in love, things aren’t always so lovey-dovey between Chris Brown and Rihanna.
The Fortune singing superstar recently stopped by On Air With Ryan Seacrest, and he talked about working with Jennifer Lopez last week, his valet parking incident, and most importantly, how he got RiRi to forgive him.

He even mentioned that their relationship to this day isn’t all about romance as much as we might think.
He told Ryan:
“I just tried my best to be the best man I could be over the years and just show her how remorseful and sorry I was for the incident and that time was probably the worst part of my life and being that she has and she’s a wonderful person I’m eternally grateful and thankful. It’s still like we’re kids. I try not to be too grown and be like, ‘Let’s have candlelight dinner every night.’ I try to make sure everything is fun. It has to be fun and it has to be genuine.”

Since they’re both still so young, maybe Chris is saving most of their romantic ventures for when they get older?
